Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a saffron jacket, got a full-house reception on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at New York's Madison Square Garden. He thanked the audience of around 20,000 people, mostly of Indian origin who constantly chanted his name, for the rousing welcome. He spoke for just over an hour.
